ENTREPRENEURSHIP
Matt Gibson, CFE Assistant Director and Lecturer of Student Ventures spoke about how to apply the entrepreneurial mindset to project teams and the campus resources available to students. It was a great opportunity for our M-HEAL project teams to explore the role of entrepreneurship in current and future endeavors.

NEEDS ASSESSMENT AND ETHNOGRAPHIC RESEARCH | December 11, 2014
M-HEAL and BLUElab are collaborating with the new Institute for the Design of Humanitarian Technology on a series of seminars, the first to the topic of Needs Assessment and Ethnographic Research. Car pools will be organized from Central Campus closer to the event and a light breakfast will be provided by Panera. HTI Seminar III : Panel and Design Specifications | March 12, 2014
M-HEAL, BLUElab and the Humanitarian Technology Institute are together hosting a series of seminars every month this semester. Seminar III will include a panel of graduate students regarding needs assessments and beginning discussions of how to create design specifications and requirements. There will be small & large group discussion, presentations giving strategies, and anecdotal experiences. Food will be provided.

DHT SEMINAR II: DESIGN SPECS AND NEEDS ASSESSMENT | January 23, 2014
M-HEAL and BLUElab, with support from the Institute for the Design of Humanitarian Technology, are together hosting a series of seminars every month this Winter Semester. For this month, the workshop's topic will be wrapping up discussion about needs assessment and then following up with creating design specifications in areas of the world where requirements may not even exist. There will be a small & large group discussion, presentations giving strategies, and anecdotal experiences. Breakfast will be provided.
