History

World Medical Relief is an organization focused on helping people with medical and pharmaceutical needs in developing countries that regularly sends shipments of medical donations abroad. Recently, World Medical Relief moved its facilities from Detroit to Southfield, Michigan. The layout and many of the processes at the Southfield facility are still being developed.

Our Project

The World Medical Relief Team is working with World Medical Relief to format the layout of World Medical Relief’s Southfield facility. Furthermore, the team is working to optimize many of World Medical Relief’s processes from sorting medical equipment to packing gaylords for shipment. The team aims to increase the number of shipments that World Medical Relief can send abroad.
